Summary: the clue
Review: Mr. Drosnin I hope you will read this review. I am a reader from Turkey. I hope it will be easy for an encoder like you to solve my bad English. I just want to tell you that I think, I have found a clue for encoding of "the coded book". In the Quran there is a section tell to the prophet of the Mouslems (to Hz. Muhammed) that "he has been given the meaning of 7 different things. This section is called Shura (means the the meeting in the judgement day) and names of seven (7) prophets are declared at different subsections. At the end of each subsection (which is not actually present) a sentence is repeated. When you add the number of this repeated sentences you reach the number 777. I think to review the Quran may be one of the interesting field of work for you. I believe to the one creater and therefore everything sent as Quran or Bible by the creater has the same origin. Therefore, I think some one has to combine both of these books to encode something, but what? I will keep on reading your next books. Thanks a lot for this detailed and time consumed study. I hope it will help to human kind.

Review: I have read the book, and it has changed my life

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Fascinating but could be better
Review: The possibility that a code exists in the Bible intrigued me from the beginning. As a person who is not very religious at all, I viewed the work with great skepticism initially; however, the evidence contained therein is persuasive. Unfortunately, Drosnin is very repetitive and consequently does a poor job of expressing himself. There were many times that I just wanted him to "move on." Despite the relatively poor writing, I still give the work three stars, primarily because it kept me so interested I finished the entire book in one sitting.

Summary: Interesting...
Review: The evidence presented in the book appears to be credible and scientifically sound. The question I came away with is: If it's true, if Drosnin found as many secrets as he implies, where are the rest of them? Why aren't they in this book? Why aren't they in a follow-up book? Granted, there are some amazing things reported in this volume, but it feels like bait, like just a tantalizing first look. The author even admits as much in his introduction. So where's the rest of the story?

Review: Didn't this book say we were all supposed to be dead by now

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Poorly Written
Review: First, let me start by saying that the topic of this book is amazing. My problem is with the writer. The book is extremely repetitous and that leads to boredom. I think in the hands of a more skillful writer, someone with a little flair for language, this could have been a wonderful book. I felt like the writer was trying to convince himself that he believed in the code, and in the process droned on incessantly. While I am fasciated by the theory of a code in the Bible, the writing is simplistic and boring. Reads worse than a textbook.

Summary: the bible code
Review: as a physician who beleives in scientific explainations and prospective randomized trials to make my decisions, i am very sceptical and suspicious with the bible and organized religion. I read this book only after a friend bought it for me. the bottom line is this book showed tangible scientific evidence that the bible is the real deal. no other books or literature passed the same decoding requirements. granted, you can always come up with reasons why this book is a farce. first, hind sight is always perfectly clear as this book shows, foresight is not. but this book and code could show us all good direction. second, in the scientic community there is a philosophy of "highest confidence level". there is no such thing as 100% confidence. this book meets the criteria. Basically, i found this book a little scary but more so exciting. this book helps show that the religious radicals and steadfast scientists will eventually come to the same final answers, just through different routes. This book is not a complete depiction of the bible code, and the reading got a little slow in the later chapters. however it did give a great introduction to a subject that will surely (hopefully) get the attention of persons of many walks of life. I am looking forward to reading other books on the subject which both supports and rejects the code. Finally, just as with other books, movies and situations, if you didn't spend the effort to read the book, see the movie be involved with the situation, you have no basis to give your opinion, so don't. no one wants to hear it (this refers to tim from california's review).

Summary: New insight for your life
Review: I absolutely loved this book. I am a religious person and The Bible Code boosted my faith in a way I never thought possible. I have a different outlook on the awesome power of God because of this book. The fact that Drosnin is a secular non religous reporter that is a firm supporter and believer in the Bible Code to me, is impressive. The scientific proof is all there and he explains it all very clearly and simply. I recommend this book highly. My only complaint? I was upset in finishing because i wanted to know more.

Summary: I have never read this book.....
Review: I have read a lot of reviews about this book and while this book may or may not be true. It is still full of negative situations. If the world does blow up, there is not much we can do about it. We can only live in the moment and experience life for what it is. In the mean time, I am not going to read a book which can only lead into wasted time, sorrow an misery. After all we are all going to die some day, but until that time I want to live a positive life. Perhaps we should all read some Zen and live our lifes to the fullest instead of harping on the negative.

Summary: BIBLE CODE
Review: The Bible Code is real. The best mathematicians in the world were asked to disprove or duplicate it. None could. The three levels of referee's the code was subjected to,during this process, is beyond reproach. Any detractor's were asked to bring thier proof through the same process.None dared. The code is mathematically sound. No other book or computer generated series of letters will work. This includes the book Moby Dick. It's one reference to the death of Princess Diana is insignificant. The bible code contains thousands with information including dates and places. Read it for yourself.
