Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Do not buy this trash... Review: Not only is the concept of there being a "CODE" in the HolyBible wrong (anyone can make ANY connections they want when there areno rules and why would God put code in the Bible instead of just telling us outright), but the book is almost impossible to get through without nodding off. Do not read this while driving... you'll wake up with a tree in your lap.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: MADE ME BELEIVE IN PREDICTIONS Review: I PERSONALLY HAVE NEVER BELIEVED IN CODES ,PHYCHICS,PREDICTIONS ,ETC. BUT MR. DROSNIN EXPLAINS THE MYSTERIOUS CODES THATHAVE BEEN JUST UNCOVERED IN THE HEBREW BIBLE "TOVA" AND NOW I LOOK AT THINGS QUITE DIFFERENTLY. THE EVENTS THAT HAVE ALREADY OCCURED ARE TRULLY STARTLING. BUY THIS BOOK YOU WON'T BE SORRY! MAYBE IF EVERYONE READS THIS BOOK WE CAN PREVENT TERRIBLE EVENTS!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Drosnin shows us the secrets of the Bible Review: Drosnin gives a methodical and inquisitive look into the ancient world of the Bible. He shows us the hidden code and gives mathmatical and scientific proof of his discovery. This is the equivelant of a theological thriller. Very insightful
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Not so unusual. Others have done the same over the years Review: The is a personal account of how one man became convinced theBible is built on a mathamatical system. Other books have used thesame principle such as "THE CITY OF REVELATION", "NUMBERS IN THE SCRIPTURE" and "THE NUMERICAL BIBLE". However the is the first attempt to deal with the bible using a computor design. There are several question that can be raised using his system of seeking word forms and the most obvious is why the arrangement of the Bible in the form he used. I have a feeling, not being a mathamatician, that if the form was altered the result would be different. There is no doubt numbers play a big part in the over all design of the Bible however there is good reason to raise questions about the form Mr. Drosnin uses. When you seek to discover a code or prophecy hidden in the bible the proximity design concerns me. I would put one question to this man. If his code is correct and the bible has been incripted than WHERE IS THE ARK OF THE COVENATE LOCATED?? The code being true than the key event of the end time is the ARK and it placement back into the temple so the man of sin, the antichrist can be revealed. No effort has been extented to point out who he is and the mystery of the number of his name which is 666! No final war or judgement can occur until the ARK is recovered. There is a great deal of discussion in the book about key events which are discoverable in the Torah but if Mr. Drosnin would again set the Bible in its orginal form of Three Books using the Y,E and P sourses we might just find a different conclusion. This book is very weak in form and content other than to describe the journey of one man to discovery what may well be his call by God to repentance and faith. Time will tell. Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Great Subject, Okay presentation Review: Michael Drosnin has earned the repudiation of the discoverersof the hidden codes of the Torah with this book. Eli Rips, DoronWitztum and Harold Gans say Drosnin has abused their research for personal gain. That aside, however, the subject matter is compelling, and this book deserves a read just for that fact alone. This book is potentially life-changing.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: The Bible Code is a "(B)ible c(O)de (R)eveal(E)d" Review: Whether or not one agrees with the principles and ideas putforth in this book, I think that it is important to remember that itis a book written for popular consumption, and as such must be judged on its entertainment value. It has none. Only the most vociferous of proponents (or opponents) could find the dry, simplistic, and highly repetitive text of any interest. While the idea of a bible code may hold excitement for many, Drosnin utterly fails to execute a work of writing with any merit. The text is a banal amalgam of stale predictions, alongside the relevant diagrams, with a smattering of paragraphs describing the author's quest to save the world from total destruction. It is also quite clear that Drosnin lacked for material and this shows through quite clearly in the way the book is padded like a bad college essay. I counted no less than 15 instances where he quotes the Rabin code (never failing to mention that HE discovered this code a year before the assassination and desparately tried to save the Prime Minister's life). Discounting the diagrams and the notes at the end, (which I suspect were included not to try and lend validity to the book's hypothesis as much as to add enough pages to convince patrons that the $25 cover price is justified) there are probably not more that 100 pages to this book, and much like the bible itself, tends to repeat itself quite frequently. Whether the thesis of the book is correct or not is for everyone to decide on their own, but it is quite clear to me that this book is a quick grab-for-cash on the part of an author trying to profit in the wake of "The Celestine Prophecy". If you are really interested in a good, nonfiction, mystical, biblical book with fantastical claims, try reading "The Sign and the Seal". Some of the claims are even more unbelievable than in "The Bible Code" but the writing is fluid, clear, intelligent, and fascinating... and the book is more than 100 pages long.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Beyond Bible Codes: Hidden Meanings Review: Thank God that God is getting so much attention lately. I wisheveryone could read this book, and beat their way past those mentalblocks that contribute to the skeptic in all of us. Not all Bible codes need a computer to figure out, though. The speed of light is in the Old Testament, as well as a detailed description of the human brain. Check out www.hiddenmeanings.com for an enlightening mental floss.
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: A interesting book Review: I've read the book, and i'm shocked by what i discovered in it,although i'm not much of a believer, the book does raise some very interesting points to ponder
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: The book is an invaluable gateway to better ones on Bible co Review: I have read the Amazon reviewers and those in at least ten print and electronic publications so far. All the detractors of The Bible Code are much too glib, not demonstrating objectively and scientifically why the codes are NOT from a superhuman being beyond our restrictions of time and space. They merely don't want the book to be valid. Despite the cited, staggering odds, they cry "coincidence", but don't cite the experiment's careful controls with a Hebrew translation of War and Peace (wherein no sensible or astounding phrases emerged).
These are the same nay-sayers who rejected my findings on Hebrew as the universal language programmed into Adam and Eve, the first cro-magnons with the "blown out" cranial cavity (see THE WORD in Amazon or email me for free essays). One so-called bible scholar bashed THE BIBLE CODE because he was taught unproven theories of multiple authors and manuscripts for the pentateuch. He didn't, therefore, critique the book as much as defend the curiculum that his sheepskin rests on. We are only hearing why Drosnin's book shouldn't be valid, but no why it is not valid. Similary, these same academics dismissed my 22,000 "coincidental" matchups of English and Hebrew words without responding to why, for example, only biblical Hebrew offers profound meanings of long lost animal names. Any objective person would conclude that these reviewers are not being honest or fair. Drosnin's effort will open the way for open-minded people to explore better, less sensationalized books and seminars on the codes, and to get a glimpse of the Infinite Intelligence behind the original form of the bible.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: One word - Unbelievable Review: This is great book, nd I am glad I bought it. Unlike other books, this gives you the facts and details, and makes them clear to you. It is also written so that it is hard to put down. While some parts of the book are "arguable," (Like the Sealed Book Chapter)he still provides you with facts that are hard to discount. I agree with almost all of what he has to say and find it amazing
