Summary: the bible code
Review: The code book is only one book of many to pass this way. It neather explains the truth of the future or what we already know of the past. The code book only mathces what the auther wills it to. The bible is the same. Its authers have used fear as dose the code book to promote it. The code book so as the bible only gives half truths. Your book reads in riddles and so the bible. You say you matched you book to all of the bible but that is not so. What of the lost books of the bible. Like the authers of old you have thron out the bath water with the baby. The first commandment said I am the lord they god tho shell have know other gods be for me. I am sorry to say I need not your book or the bible, because god is not fear. It was drumed in to my head day after day for 15 years when I was a young man. Now at age 56 I find that delling on when the end will come and a new person says he is god bothers me not. Read the book, don't read the book, eather way we will at one time die and meet our god. Hell is what we make it and god who has known us sence time begain and will take us home. I am sure the auther believes in his god and that is all he needs. Make money, live long, and be good to to ever one you meet for it could be god that you help. Remember Dieing is easy its the liveing thats hard. retired police officer thanks

Summary: ASK THE RABBIS ABOUT THE CODE
Review: It's not surprising that you can pull a Code out of the Old Testament; any Rabbi can tell you about it, but it has nothing to do with prophecy. The ancient writers of the Bible, as Jewish scholars are well aware of, wrote their texts numerologically; true Hebrew copies also have a certain number of lines per page, a certain number of columns, etc. (Even the number of laws given in the Torah correspond with the number of bones the Hebrews thought at the time that the body contained, for example.) Often when the Rabbis were/are given questions about a particular passage, they would interpret the scriptures numerologically and come up with an answer that doesn't seem to have much correllation with the actual text, when not taken from this numerological perspective. Overall, the text was written very carefully to reflect truths contained within the surface of the text, so something *will* be found with a mathematical analysis--but not necessarily the prophecies contained herein. Summary: " With God all things are possible".
Review: He uses the profound to teach the simple, and the simple to teach the profound. The Bible Code is certainly profound, but to understand it coming from our Creator, it seems simply perfect. I know it seems like a hoax to some, but you can never understand something or have a true opinion about it until you know what it is. I encourage you to read this work for yourself. Summary: Fortuntelling is difficult particularly concerning future
Review: Too much journalism based on valuable information. A lot of guesses & half truths based on good scientific work of few statistical mathematicians who were proven right. Good money maker before the end of century and millennia when a lot of people become nervous for no reason at all. Remember the panic 1000 years ago resulting in NOTHING except in a lot of human tragedies. Our common calendar is meaningless to the Hebrew Bible. Even if Jewish himself Jesus' birth and his significance to Jewish people is nil. Except for hatred and persecution followers of St. Paul's religion inflicted on Jews it did not bring them anything positive. In all respect to the believers who might read my message Jesus' mission SO FAR has bitterly failed to redeem the world. We are still waiting for the "Second Coming or the 2nd Chance". SO IT IS NO WONDER THAT JESUS' NAME HAS NOT BEEN FOUND THERE.

Five Books of Moses and all quoted scriptures are written in Hebrew. Unlike any others this is the only 'intrinsic' language known on this planet. New Testament was written in Greek using different alphabet and language. Any compatibility or comparison between the two is irrelevant. "Coincidences" and occasional "messages" comprised of few words connected BY our BIAS MINDS can be found in any text. Their interpretation is at the mercy of the authors and their curiosity or even exploitation.

M. Dorsin has been compared to Jane Dixon. Who among others had predicted assassination of Castro as well as Nixon. But only a random match with Kennedy made her famous. This is the weakness of Michael Drosnin's logic. Old Chinese saying: "Fortuntelling is difficult particularly where future is concerned" applies to him very much. Predicting earthquakes and regional wars is easy. We do not need a Bible Code to know vulnerability of our human civilization, ethnic quarrels and a very temporary state of this planet upper crust. That is why Dr. Rips has dissociated himself with the "PREDICTIONS" made in this book. Drosnin dislike for Nataniahu is mostly visible there and surely effected his search. His use of names for "months of the year" in one case in Hebrew in other in English shows his "bending the rules" as only dishonest scientists do. On the other hand such practice has been common in journalism, politics and entertainment. So we must forgive him if he considers his book as such.

Even if the Bible code is a fact its interpretation for predicting the future seem to be worthless. If it should cause panic it might become even dangerous. I believe that we are at very early stages in interpreting what we see here. E.g. present lining up of the text in a simple horizontal way might need several vertical layers to read properly. Our present computers do not seem to have the ability to "discover" more than few words interpretation of which is unfortunately too "personal" or at least ambiguous. As Dr. Rips and others have scientifically proven "predicting" the PAST is much more accurate. It is certainly a good start. But far from being good enough yet.

Summary: MainFrame disputes spurious claims
Review: We at Office Automation Standard, have applied our paired IBM 6000 boxes to the resolution of the claims that there are mysterious messages in "the Telephone Book", "Mobey Dick" and "War & Peace" After more than 800 hours of uninterrupted CPU time we find no hint of correlation. We have also researched, Le Morte De Authur, The complete Works of Shakespear, The Collected works of Sir Authur Conan Doyle, Sir James Barrie, Alexander Pope, Dr. Samuel Johnson, Sir Alfred Lord Tennyson, William Morris, Robert Louis Stephenson, Rudyard Kipling, and even Edward Lear's "The Owl and the Pussy-Cat". Our company has done this research at considerable expense and inconvenience. However, we (the partners) felt that substantive claims should be made one way or the other. We argue there is no significent correlation in other literature which we can find which approaches, simulates, or parallells the verifiable research done by Michael Drosnin

Summary: An article masquerading as a book

Summary: could be condensed by not being redundant
Review: I'm sure the author wanted to get his point across, however the mention of Rabin was too overstated. He could have said what he wanted to in half the time. I was dissapointed in the fact, that I was unable to locate the author in a people search. Do you have any idea how I may be able to correspond with Mr. Drosnin?

Summary: re: McKay's Moby dick assasinations
Review: Dear reader, I have read Mckay's account of assassination attempts, but to be honest one would expect to find the words ice and guns associated with such a novel ! This notwitstanding, the appearance of various Indian assassinations is interesting, although I find the Martin Luther example a little far fetched (ML could easily be one of my friends, in which case I would be very upset!). I have no doubt that assassinations and probably(!) other events in world history may be found in various texts, but the depth of the predictions (ie dates) in the bible code (try the software and reading Drosnins book) more convincing than McKay's effort. If I was in his position (Mckay) I would go for a text in the body of the hebrew literature (how about Yahwist poems?) so that you can get a date (you know what I mean don't you) so he can get some dates to coincide with a world event (please not another assassination-how about phobos 2 going missing?) Best regards Dr.G.D.McMeeking

Summary: Very Interesting... I wanted to know more...
Review: I am a skeptic and inquisitive. I read the book and I wanted to know more.
After some searching I found www.jewishsoftware.com where I was able to buy a codes program.
Doing my own searches was not only fun, hard and interesting, but it really made the examples in the book come home.
I would recommend both
