Review: It is a historical fact that the Jews have fared much better and had greater freedom under Islamic rule than under Westerners, the Europeans. It has always been Christian Europe that persecuted the Jews throughout the middle ages and beyond. Study the Inquisition, Crusades, Holocaust; The current conflict is political. Both Christian and Muslim Palestinians have grievances with the current state of affairs regarding Israel. This book is written by a Christian fundamentalist who twists the facts to suit his own world view that the second coming of Christ HAS to occur in a God protected Israel.

Summary: Prepare for the truth & prepare to be shocked !
Review: Seldom has a book been as timely and appropriate as this one !This book is right on the money ! Hal Lindsey gets straight to the heart of the Islamic/Moslem hatred for the Jews, Christians, the US and the West generally. Starting with the cold blooded murder of journalist Daniel Pearl, the author addresses present day events and the situation facing us all in the wake of the September 11 atrocities in the US. Approaching each and every aspect from a Christian/Biblical perspective. He reveals the real fundamentalist Islamic position on violence, conquest and the infidels (that's us), as revealed in the Koran and the Haddith. Hal Lindsey addresses in considerable detail, the Islamic fundamentalist purpose and agenda of replacing the Judeo-Christian, Western world with a new Islamic world order. He provides an in depth analysis of the Biblical promises to the people of Israel in relation to the Land presently disputed between the Jewish state and the Arab world, including Jerusalem. Also studied are the roots of anti-Semitism and the history of Islam, Mohammed and the Biblical references to the descendants of Ishmael. Of particular note are the sections devoted to the Palestinian people, their origins etc., and the overwhelming atmosphere of hatred so prevalent at this time in the Middle East. The very roots of this hatred are at the heart of this study and I highly recommend this. It is a shame that only five stars can be allocated, as this book deserves more !

Summary: Apocalypse Now
Review: The entire premise of this book rests on Hal's twisted interpretation of the OT scriptures. He misuses the biblical account of Esau and Jacob, who represent the Edomites and Israelites respectively, to mislead the reader into believing that "everlasting enmity" between Arab and Jewish people dates back 4000 years. All one need do is look up who the Edomites really were, to realize how cleverly Hal has tried to fool them.
Also, the REAL story of the OT is the account of God's tumultuous relationship with his children "Israel", His love, His rewards, their rebellion, their punishment etc. This scenario is depicted over and over. When "Israel" stays true to God, they're rewarded with the land, peace, and wealth, but when they abandon their faith, the repercussions are immediate. But Hal has perverted the scriptures into "Jihad against Jews" and distorts the meaning so badly I am simply amazed he is able to pull this off so cleverly.
Along with all this nonsense we have moronic, yet effective methods of brain washing throughout the book. Bold headlines such as "HATE BECOMES EVERLASTING ENMITY" scream out to the reader repeatedly, and I almost died laughing reading some of them. Through his clever use of memetic tactics, abuse of scripture, and his narrow lens of modern historical events, Hal will easily convince naive readers into believing this Frankenstein of a story he has concocted. By the looks of some of these reviews, I can see he already has.
This book is propaganda on a grandiose scale which is probably why I found it where it belongs... in the garbage. While Hal and his sanctimonious war profiteers rake in the cash from their Armageddon video sales, they shamelessly fan the flames of Islamic hatred with books like this.
It is groups like these, who seek to influence our nations thinking (as well as our foreign policy) to conform with highly questionable interpretations of "end time" prophecies, and who, in a blatant effort to sow the seeds for the war of civilizations, can hardly wait for their early Raptures, and the coming slaughter of innocents... all in the name of Jesus.

Summary: This book by itself is a product of hatred.
Review: This book is by itself a sample of hatred, bias, prejudice, and a call to destroy followers of certain religion on earth. Any objective reading of history will show that Jews were better protected under the Muslim rule that Christian rule. Anyone who don't know this can read history of Spain. Forget about Jewish/Muslim affairs, look at the history of Christianity. The bloodshed among Christians cannot even be compared with the total of wars Muslims fought with non-Christians. The Arab-Jewish fight is the creation of the 20th century and product of Western imperialism. Before that, history reveals that Jews in Muslim lands was better of than the Jews in Christian land. When they escaped Spain, they came to the Muslim lands not to any Christian kingdons who were equally anti-Jew at that time. When Jesw were killed in Pogroms in Eartern Europe in their gettos, Jews in Muslim countries were controlling almost entire commerce and finance sector. DON'T LIE by using IDIOT USAME created by the WESTERN intelligence services and DON'T INSULT INNOCENT MUSLIMS. You cannot hide the truth from the one who look for it. Hatred cannot explain hatred and this book reveals the hatred of certain segments toward one billion people on earth.

Summary: Documented history of Islamic Jihad and unended hatred!
Review: This book is one of the finest expose's I have read on the subject. It vitally written and intersting, plus, the writer has tied everything together with known Bible History and Bible Prophesy. Islamic writings and Quran provide a complete link to why the hatred never ends. It shows why we must get smart or die! The writer has no axe to grind with anyone, and I found his open hearted writing to be right up to date with what is going on right now i the world everywhere.

Review: This book is very clearly stated. one does not need to be a bible scholar or a historian to understand exactly what Lindsey is explaining. Excellent research on the ancient history of Arab born Jews; Jews and Muslims. Clearly and simply explains and expounds on the "ideas" of Islam and the Koran! Everything in this book is supported by either Biblical reference; reference from the koran; referrence from renowned and recognized historians. a must read for every person Jew, Christian, and Muslim - especially during these violent times!

We are to love our enemies but we are also to be as "wise as serpents and harmless as doves". This excellent book begins to reveal the REAL history and REAL refugees. It explains about where the name Palestine came from. Who were the "original" inhabitants of this land. It also explains terms such as "People of the Book" and "Protected People".....all of which are directly relevant to the news we see right now about the Middle East situation. I highly recommend that everyone read this for factual information rather than the biased, filtered information we get from the media.

Summary: Good info on Islamic hypocrisy
Review: This is a basic book that cuts through to the root of the Israel/Arab conflict. Hal Lindsey uses clear, easily understood language and includes historical references to help prove his points. There is a focus on the biblical reason for the hatred followed by the natural, Koranic Islamic tendency to loathe the Jews. Some of the interesting points include highlighting the original Jewish benefits to the Arabs, who the first 'refugees' really are, who was first in Medina, and describing how much of a brutal tyrant Mohammed became. People who give this one star are still propbably caught up in the Islamic propaganda permeating the western media with the real truth being too radical to be accepted.
