Summary: An Outstanding Author
Review: I believe Hal Lindsey to be one of our greatest contemporary experts on Biblical prophecy in the world and his books are an excellent indicator of this. If you are a Bible-believing Christian and want to tie-up some loose ends regarding prophecy that you are having difficulty with, or if you are simply trying to understand the craziness that goes on around us in this world, Mr. Lindsey's books serve as excellent resources of information. My greatest disagreement with Mr. Lindsey would be tying in the political objectives of our government with Christianity; this is dangerous because many of our so-called Christian leaders are hardly Christian at all; instead, they worship money. This is a dangerous fact. My other disagreement is that our country's Biblical duty is to save Israel from fundamental Islamic aggression. I believe God will do this with or without America, not to save the Jews, but because it is God's promise to reestablish His Holy Kingdom on Earth and He will save His Holy Land (Israel). Christ Jesus will return and walk through the Eastern Gate of the Temple, which was walled-up by the Muslims hundreds of years ago. God will protect His land and God will bless His people. There will come a time when the Jews will finally realize that they must finally accept the true Messiah, Christ Jesus. For more reading on this subject, check out Randall Price. Review: I don't really know how I should start - maybe I should start by saying that I'm a Muslim or maybe I should start with how this author is trying to spread his prejiduc.. To tell you the truth muslims do not hate jews or christians - we have religous tolerance but I don't know what to say about this piece of work.. A lot of people rated this book as a 5 star book.. and I respect their opinion - but muslims are not power corrupted, and what this author is trying to do is spread this hate - which to me is like a cancer because he has judged this race of people based on their belifs - I can tell you now I have not read this book and I don't plan to.. some of the questions mentioned in the amazon reviews are absurd - besides that no one really knows who really terrorized the country on sep. 11th
While reading a review I read something so very astonishing that I couldn't belive what I have just read - the fact that muslims result to war as a way to gain power or something of that nature - it's either that or change our belifs - I have no idea if that was in the book, but to be honest did any of the people who support the book ever watch the news?? did anyone see a muslim from palistine hold a gun and just shoot?? the arabs there are being terrorized in homes, at school, on the streets... the list goes on amd they have to result to using stones as self defence - how very power corrupted they are - huh? Also I read that muslims follow the prophet Mohammed's belifs about god and the 5 pillars and expect men fine as pearls and women waiting for us. I have to say this is the first time I even heard - or in this case - read that concept. In all the years I've been studying islam in school the teachers never mentioned that fact because its not true, we are raised to belive in equality between everyone, despite religon, race... We have never thought that if we go to heaven we get women or men.. I have also read that some people think that we hate the united states when thats not true - I'm from a small country but we do have T.V.s - malls... anyway on t.v. we see actions and such that we do not support but that does nbot mean we hate - to hate an indivitual is to mean u hate a person for who he is but unless we meet everyone in the u.s. we can not form an opinion - it is actually the complete opposite i know some people who want to go to the states for college and everything but they can't because of the hate we think everyone there fosters for us and we have no idea why - but I guess I know now..

Review: I got as far as the review by Levent Basturk (Aurora, Colorado United States), and I became enraged by the ignorance. First, I have to say that I have some very nice Muslim acquaintances. BUT, why is it that Muslims use the Crusades as one of their reasons for hating the West, and self-deprecating, crazed liberals go right along with it like the ignorant fools they are. Muslims invaded and terrorized as far as they could take their armies from the very beginning of the religion. They invaded Europe about 300 years before the first Crusade. Today, after cursing the West for invading the Holy Land, which they had no business occupying, they brag about how well Christians were treated in Spain while they occupied it, and liberals say, "Yes, the Crusades were horrible. How can we live with such a history", or something like that. Disgusting. Get it straight, people, Islam is dedicated to converting the entire planet to their religion. Their history is replete with evidence of their attempts to do just that. Make no mistake about it, Islam fully intends to take back Spain, then the rest of Europe. The cowardly Spanish and French will pay an enormous price for capitulating to the Muslims. Even 50 years from now Europe will not be anything like it is today if Europeans don't wake up to the threat. The only reason Europe isn't under Muslim rule today is that they were stopped by Charles Martel at the Battle of Tours in 732. Did that date get your attention, people? 732 is well over 300 years before the first Crusade, and the Muslims had already invaded Spain and built a civilzation there before this time--an Islamic culture. What is it the liberal "thinkers" don't understand about this. The terrorists today are just following through with their ancestor's plans for total world conversion to Islam. Even though there are some very fine Muslim people, their leaders aren't so nice, and they have millions of radical followers. The war against terrorism isn't just over oil folks. It's over religion, land, and world dominance. It's time to wake up, people, before it's too late. This is World War III, and if the radical Muslims win, you will lose forever.

Summary: The Politically Incorrect Truth About the Middle East
Review: I had heard that Hal Lindsey originally wrote most of this book about 10 years ago - well before Sept. 11, 2001 but that no publisher thought the book would sell. I have followed Hal's ministry for years and he was warning about the coming struggle with Islam long before Pan-Am Flight 103, World Trade Center - 1993, Oklahoma City - 1995, TWA Flight 800- 1996, The U.S. Cole - 1998, and the World Trade Center (again) on 9/11. (C'mon Americans, wake up and smell the coffee. We are not at war against a country but against a religion from Satan. ) Seems Hal was right all along. Not because he is Hal Lindsey. But because these truths come from the Word of God. The prophecies outlined in the "Late, Great Planet Earth" on 1970, are close to completion. We as Christians should rejoice. Hal documents that the current struggle is nothing more than an ancient family feud in which one son of Abraham, (Ishmael) is still jealous over the inheritance given to another son (Issac.) Especially of interest is that Jerusalem and Present-Day Israel in 1870 was a vast moonscape, wasteland that no one wanted. (Description by that great bible teacher Mark Twain !!) If the land was so valuable to Islam, where were the Arabs during these years the land was up for grabs without contest ? Hal shows that the Arab goal is not the conquest of the land, but the elimination of the Jew from the planet. The current George W. Bush Road Map consisting of "Land for Peace" is a red herring; the Arab world doesn't want the land, they want the Jews pushed into the ocean and stricken from the earth. (Good luck.... see Jeremiah 31: (31-40.) Hal continues to say that America's tombstone will say, "America, Dead from Political Correctness." He is dead-on. This book is not for the faint of heart. Some would claim Hal speads hate. No, he is trying to reach the Muslim so they don't spend eternity with Muhhammad in hell. Sometimes the truth hurts and if America doesn't wake up or ever forsakes Israel, we are dead ducks. (Genesis 12:3). Great job Hal. At 73, you are going strong in teaching God's word. God bless you.

Summary: The Everlasting Hatred - The Title Alone Explains Lindsey
Review: I read this book and was appauled by Lindsey's one sided support of anything Israel does.At all costs,seems to be the agenda of this hate filled evangelical fanatic.The truth is,fanatical Christians interest in Israel comes from their belief of Jesus returning in a cloud above a controlled,operated and owned Israel
by these Christians and some Jews who will go along with their zionist plan.
The book talks about "Christian love" but I have yet to see much love coming from anyone who stands so firmly on bashing one of the worlds most interesting and practical religions,Islam.
As I read,I found the key emotion of Lindsey's is FEAR.Don't reach out a hand to the other side,simply go to war with it and squash it.Very sad.
The world will not come to a greater understanding as long as FEAR is the main emotion driving it.I didn't learn anything new from this book.All I learned was to put the book down and look for reading material which is fair and honest.
Lindsey has an extreme suspicion of Arabs and Muslims.He lumps into one group "terrorists" and considers them to be a threat to Christianity.
The greatest threat to Christianity has been Christianity itself.
The evengalicals are wolves in sheeps clothing.

Summary: Christianists and Islamists--flip sides of the same coin
Review: I remember when these same silly Christianists were convinced that the Soviet Union was the anti-Christ, and that Biblical prophesy was being realized by the Cold War.
Then I remember how, in 1991, Saddam Hussain was the anti-Christ for sure.
Guess that didn't work out either.
These uneducated Christianists, believing in their fictional god, their fictional book, their "messiah" who was simply a guy using obvious magician's tricks that I can easily replicate, and who died 2,000 years ago--these Christianists are the reason why America cannot reach its full potential.
All religions are equally man-made, and equally false. Belief in one or another is almost always an accident of birth. Had Mr. Evans been born in Saudi Arabia to devout Muslim parents, today he'd be a fervent Sunni Wahabist cleric. If some religion guides you to a more moral life, great. But more often than not, as in the case of this book, belief in these fairy tales only leads to greater and greater violence, amorality, and war.

Summary: Islam: The Religion of the Weak Minded
Review: I used to be like you. I used to think that Muslims simply want to live in peace. I used to think they tolerate Christians and Jews as fellow "people of the book." Now I know the truth. After reading countless books and articles on the topic, and talking with ex-Muslims from Islamist countries, I now understand that Islam is the religion of the weak-minded. It is growing in popularity in the West because the secularists have destroyed Christianity in the West. Without a faith to make order out of the chaos of life, Westerners lap up Islam. It's an easy religion. It makes life easy. Follow the strictly laid out rules, and you'll go to heaven. Period. Kill the "infidels" in a "jihad" and you'll be guaranteed your way with ever-refreshing "dark-eyed virgins" and "boys as fine as pearls." What kind of religion is that? Islam has NEVER been "a religion of Peace." It began with mass slaughter and Mohammed himself led many raids on surrounding tribes that refused to convert to his new "religion." As they refused to convert, he slit their throats and soaked the desert sands in blood. You politically correct defenders of Muslims are the first they will betray. They would just as soon slit your throat from ear to ear as to look at you.

The Muslim's have only two choices, One; at all coast they must destroy Israel; or two; they can change there beliefs. Which do you think they will chose? And where will that choice Lead the world too? Read this book and You will get a better understanding of this insane hate and where it comes from. Lindsey also does a great job of tracing the history of the middle east (in a concise Way) and presents an interesting view of the Palestinians claims. You cannot understand, this hate, unless you understand that, the fact that Israel's existence proves the Muslims religion to be incorrect and proves Mohammed to be a false Prophet. The Muslim's have only two choices, One; at all coast they must destroy Israel to keep the prophet true; or two; they can change there beliefs, and moderate. Which do you think they will chose? Unfortunately, to many of them, choose the first way, the way of hate and violence and death. When you have a religion that teaches children to hate Israel and the Jews and all others who do not accept Mohamidism, and you teach them that by killing these people (infidels) they are ding Allah's will; and that by dying in the process of killing those who are not like them (infidels), then they are rewarded with paradise and pleasures beyond there imaginations; Then you get willing individuals to kill and even kill themselves in the process.
