Summary: This is great little book, I mean little
Review: For the purpose that this book was written, it's great. Hank hanegraaff the host of the bible answer man broadcast and the president of the CRI has done a service to the body of Christ with this little book. The book is thicker but smaller that the Covering, means you can stick it in your pocket and go. Answers lots of questions and great for babes in Christ. The answers are short but sweet. The book is not meant for indepth study but gives great resources for more detailed study of the Word of God. The book is a beautiful book and I really do recommend it. Good work Hank .

Summary: Little Book . . . Really
Review: I was impressed and looked forward to reading the book for the title and page count. However, the book is physically very small (pocket sized). Maybe that's a good thing but I like to do research and think I can do that easier and more in depth on CRI's website.

It's a pretty book -- glossy pages, hardcover, etc. Wouldn't it be more accessible if less money was spent making it pretty? Or is this book like many others that fail in the Christian subculture that just want to make money while providing little substantial content.

Summary: The real hank?
Review: Most people that are fans of Hank and CRI are simply not knowledgeable of the facts. Hank and CRI had to pay off one of their ex employees who revealed Hank's missapopriation of Funds. CRI is nothing but a Book Mill. Hank may have others fooled, but he is a first rate heretic. He doesn't believe that there is a Bible without Error on the Earth, believes that the Armstrongs are not a Cult, that Lk 16 is a Parable - Need i go on? If you want answers, do what Jesus said - Seek ye out of the book and read! As far as authors to read - Pink, Scofield, Ruckman, Larkin, James Knox. Start there. Not a money stealing heretick like Hank. Don't waste your money ...

Summary: Excellent protogae
Review: This book 'The Bible Answer-Man' 'BAM' is an excellent protogae of a proliphic writer and apologetic interpreter of any questions one may accumulate inside the 'Bible' = THE WORD OF GOD INTERPRETED ONLY BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FORCES - Dr Hank Hanegraaff is quite an interpreter - in the natural intelligence of man-inside given by the Holy-Spirit - through Jesus Christ - Any questions, Hank will answer - in this valuable book from the Holy-Scriptures (The Bible) NT-OT* - at the CRI Center(Christian-Research Center) - buy this book and you will find here any treasure you are seeking - in this equitable book - Hank answers any question in relation to the Messiah-Jesus-Christ incarnated in the flesh - (3 persons in one God=1) activated simultanously in 3 persons, Father/Son/Holy Spirit/ when he came to this earth 20004, the Holy Spirit was not in full Force, until JESUS-CHRIST ASCENDED INTO THE HEAVENS WITH THE FATHER GOD (chek refs*)2thous 4 years pas (centuries past) - Hank is like a 'walking-computer' answering any questions - in regards to the 'Creation of the World- the beginnings - the NT - articles books about Jesus-Christ - the SON OF GOD! - for the Word of God states plainly, it does not need any question or interpretation - 'NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER GOD, BUT BY JESUS CHRIST - through the Holy-Spirit - forces - and also the Bible-states: in which Hank will explain further ' For the Word of God is powerful than any two-edged sword -reaching inside the bone morrow of a person' that is deep'
and is a discernable factor of the natural mind- 'For the natural mind cannot attain to the knowledge of God is too profound'*(...)the Bible quotes -

I adivse you to ask 'HANK' THE BIBLE ANSWER-MAN' IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBTS ABOUT ANY SCRIPTURE - whether in the nateural realm or in the spiritual-/or literal interpretation - for example, I always wonder about one scripture in particular since I was a child - when the pastor quoted from the book of 'JOEL' THE MOON WILL BE TURN INTO BLOOD' -- DO NOT KNOW IF THIS IS LITERAL OR A FACT - IT CAN BE 'WAR IN THE HEAVENS' AND MANY WILL DIE (BLOOD) --?? WELL ASK HANK - INSIDE HIS RADIO BROADCAST - DAILY - (WATCH FOR THE ITINERARY OF SCHEDULE IN YOUR STATE - in New York City daily from 10:00 am -via NJ- via NYC WMCA - Monday to Friday - and PM 6-7 - 1 hour spectrum of 'goodies' about the 'Word of God' in its full analysis - 2004 years past - AD -

Summary: Good Handbook to a Variety of Questions
Review: While not meant to be overly detailed, this book provides concise answers to 81 questions about the Bible and Christianity in a useful format. A couple answers could have been more detailed, but most are adequete.

The only problem I have is with question 35 on "how old will we be in heaven?" While most of the ansewer is helpful, the claim that Adam & Eve had apparent age is inaccurate and problematic. Here's why:

The fact is that anything that appears to be old or has the appearance of age is, by definition, not really old. It only appears to be that way. Again, by definition, any such thing made to appear to be something that it is not, is to in fact be deceived by the person or being making it appear that way. Following this logic to its end would lead us to the conclusion that God is deceitful if he were in fact making things that appeared to be something other than what they are in actuality.

We cannot know the mind of God, but we know plenty concerning the nature of his character. Never is he irrational, untruthful or deceitful as made clear in verses such as Isaiah 45:19: "I have not spoken in secret, from somewhere in a land of darkness..."

Appearance of age is also tantamount to relative thinking. If something only appears to be old, how can we know anything of the past? One could then say we were created yesterday with memories and physical aging. In other words, appearance of age leads to some ridiculous lines of thought.

Appearance of age proponents may claim Adam appeared to be old since he was created as an adult instead of an infant. This reasoning does not pay close attention to the method of Adam's creation. Your age is calculated from the time you were born (we generally neglect the nine months in the womb for simplicity's sake). A year after Adam was created, he had only aged a year. By normal reckoning, he was only a year old. Adam was created as an adult so he was mature in the sense that he was not a child, not in the sense that he had already aged twenty years because he had not been alive that long. It would be as if you were born as a fully gown adult. Had this happened, would you show signs of aging at birth? Would you already have wrinkles, clogged arteries and worn joints? No, being created as an adult means just that: Adam was an adult from the get go and did not start aging until the next moment. Adam did not appear to be an adult, he was an adult. He only appears to be old from our perspective of being accustomed to people growing from an infant. From his perspective, Adam had just started aging!

etc...(condensed from www.geocities.com/darrickdean/passage.html#e13), So to promote the view that Adam & Eve has some obvious problems!

Summary: Bible Answer Book
Review: With the opening of the Passion of the Christ, Christians either have had or will be called upon to answer questions about what they believe and why. At least at some point in time, most of us have been faced with either pleading the fifth or having to defend their faith by "well, it's in the Bible and I believe it." Unfortunately, that does not really answer the question.

Hank Hannegraff has made a career of handling the questions people have about Christianity, and giving better answers than it's true because that's what I believe. Christians who buy and read this book will have the equivalent of a question and answer episode of the Bible Answer Man program in their shirt pocket or purse. It's small size will make it easy to carry for handy reference, and the bite sized answers cover a wide range of topics. Some seem a bit simplistic, others are more relevant and thought provoking. Each section is thoroughly cross referenced to books and articles that will help the reader go into more detail.

**** This book may not answer every question a Christian might find themsevles confronted by, but it's a start. As an aside, the photography that illustrates the Bible Answer Book is gorgeous and would be frameworthy if it were larger. ****
