Rating: Summary: A decent Strong's ... Review: ... but the pages are very thin (difficult to turn) and I've seen editions with more material. A Strong's, however, is a Strong's, and an invaluable addition to any Bible student's library. Highly recommended as a cheaper Strong's. Invest in a hardcover if you're serious about it or wish to invest in it. The book is 'perfect bound', too, and will fall apart after use/abuse. But the content is great :). My only complaint is the packaging.
Rating: Summary: Owning This One Is Tops Review: By upgrading my Strong's to this new one was one of the best investments that I have made in my Bible study materials. Please try it and I bet that you agree with me. It is also easier to find great material than the previous editions.

Rating: Summary: A must for the library of every serious Bible student Review: I am amazed at how complete..well, it does say "exhaustive," this book is. My first copy, a gift, is so dog-eared that I came to Amazon to get another. I am amzed at the price!! This is truly a bargain, so I getting an additional to share as a gift!
Rating: Summary: How did I live so long without this? Review: I had no idea such magical things existed! Strong's Concordance is an essential tool in any academic study of the Bible. The Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic dictionaries allow one a glimpse of the hurdles translators had to navigate in wrestling with this text. I recommend this for anyone working with the Bible or with any text with densely packed biblical allusions, such as Milton, Shakespeare or T.S. Eliot, among countless others.
Rating: Summary: It's All Here Review: I own a Strong's Concordance, and have proven it's usefulness time and time again. This reference will allow you to find virtually any elusive verse that you may search for. This book also allows you to check the definitions of words in their origional Hebrew and Greek meanings in context of the specified verse!
Rating: Summary: Excellent Buy Review: I was very impressed by this book. The Hebrew and Greek dictionaries are quite complete and in depth. Also all of the Hebrew laws, Weights and measures are listed, along with the teachings of Christ listed by subject. The main concordance is beyond exhaustive and I easily found any suject I was looking for. I highly recommend this book for students of the bible, pastors or just simply anyone that would like to study God's word on a more in depth basis. It's beyond exhaustive by far.
Rating: Summary: A Biblical Swiss Army Knife Review: If you can only afford one reference work, buy this. Strong's numerical systems works as a printed "many-to-one" database of words found in the King James Version of the Bible.Unfortunately I find it difficult at times due to my personal predisposition to actually want to stay awake during Bible study which the KJV of the Bible does not allow me to do. I would rate this work higher if not for two things: 1) Not revised to include other translations of the Bible. 2) Superceded in accessibility by computer versions.
Rating: Summary: Excellent work but inferior binding... Review: Indeed, this publication easily rates five stars for its content. However, the hardcover tome itself is, unfortunately, bound very cheaply, i.e., the pages are held together solely by glue (so-called "perfect-binding", in the language of the bookbinding trade) and are not sewn into the binding. I realize that most of today's mass-production "popular books" are bound this way in order to save money. However, this format simply does not hold up under heavy use, e.g., for scholars and serious students. I'd be willing to pay a higher price for an edition with quality (sewn) binding.
Rating: Summary: WITH A KING JAMES VERSION Review: ONLY way to start yourself towards the truth. Stick ONLY to Dr. Strong's work; the hebrew, aramaic and greek translations. All the rest of the "garbage" was obviously added by the publisher and is pure "fluff" and not Dr. Strong's works. Stick to Dr. Strong's work; p.s., he's in error only when it comes to the translation for BEHEMOTH (book of Job)...it isn't a hippopotamus. A hippopotamus does not have the tail the size of a Cedars of Lebanon tree. It's a dinosaur as document in II Peter Ch. 3.
