Summary: Heartwarming and Alive
Review: I began to read this book after my father passed away from ALS. It was one of the hardest reads of my life. I am glad that the book did not focus on this horrible disease. If you know anyone that has lived through this disease, you would appreciate Morries zest for life until the end. This book changed my life and it will change others , if you open your heart to it.

Review: Sometimes the simplest things are the most moving. Nothing in this book is a great leap in philosophy, it's merely a reminder of all the things we already know but have either forgotten or have taken for granted. Those looking for cold philosophy can look elsewhere; those looking for a few warm words from a kind man should read this book.

Review: This book is transforming! Buy it for everyone you care about. I laughed, cried and feel blessed to have read such an endearing, inpirational story. In an age of great loneliness, Morrie gives life new meaning in simple yet profound aphorisms. Love is all that matters from the beginning to the final hour.

Review: While this book is somewhat engaging, and one can't help but feel an emotional connection to Morrie, it is sorely lacking in depth. If you want a book that will help you to put your priorities in order and help you decide what it truly important in life, may I recommend the following: "Gift of the Sea" by AM Lindberg; "Your Erroneous Zones" by W Dyer, "The Road Less Traveled" by Scott Peck, and the New Testament

Summary: A Must Read Book
Review: Having lost a friend to cancer over the summer who was also my son's teacher, this book was absolutely delightful and inspirational. I enjoyed Albom's honest in reaction to what he witnessed. There is a lot of wisdom in what Professor Schwartz had to say. Thanks Mitch for the great book and thanks Coach for the lessons!

Summary: A "must read" for all who remember a special teacher!
Review: A book that will make you laugh, cry, and discover new insights into the process of dying. I read this book and then had the privilege of hearing Mitch Albom speak this past weekend. That prompted pick up "Tuesdays With Morrie and read it again with an even greater interest and deepened appreciation. Mr. Albom shines as both a public speaker and wonderful writer. This book heads my Christmas list for my teacher friends.

Review: I truly enjoyed this book. I found myself reflecting on my own life as I was reading through it. What a great book. It sets a great example for handling adversity, demonstrating courage and getting your priorities straight.

Review: I'm disappointed that it's not more insightful. There's nothing new in this book about ALS and it hardly touches the ugliness and distress of the disease. I think it was more a book about the author's reaction to Morrie and the author's own life.

Review: I picked this up through Amazon.com after a co-worker suggested that I "run, don't walk" to the nearest bookstore to buy it.What an amazing story. In a largely cynical and angry age, Mitch Albom's simple yet remarkably affecting style cuts to the heart of what's really important in life. Call it divine providence, call it luck, call it what you will...there was a reason Mitch and Morrie renewed their friendship at the end of the latter's life. A gentle and touching book you won't soon forget.
