Summary: tasteful and a conversation enhancer
Review: I have always been interested in Anne Geddes work, but finally purchased a book for myself. I was very impressed with obvious care she used and the openness of families to allow their children to be photgraphed so soon after birth. I think that it is wonderful that God's blessings are shown to others. I liked the fact that Ms. Geddes photographed children from all races and mixed races, of children and adults and children, within the photographs. Some of the quotes spoke to me personally, but all were heartwarming. I liked that Ms. Geddes also elaborated on details about the authors of the quotes at the end of her book. This book is on my coffee table which causes others to comment on it. I am very pleased with my selection and may consider purchasing others in the future.

Summary: Breathtaking,gorgeous bundles of joy!
Review: I have been a fan of Anne Geddes for many years and find her work so incredible! I have surrounded myself with her art. It gives me a sense of happiness and comfort to see these adorable babies in such helpless, comfortable surroundings! A true gem of a book! Great for the coffee table for sure!

Summary: deeply disturbing
Review: I received this book as a baby present. While I was familiar with a few of Anne Geddes' pictures (the ones with babies wearing flowers), I found this book to be nightmarish. Why would anyone want to look at sweet innocent babies in, of all places, surrounded by fungus? (with the JM Barrie quote) Also, the pictures of the babies posing in weird places (like a vase with marbles) is quite troubling. Obviously, the author is using trick photography, but why would someone want to look at a naked baby sitting on marbles? Would you put your baby there? Let's hope not. As one other person wrote, I would never let this woman near my child.

Summary: cute way to keep in touch...
Review: I saw Anne Geddes on Oprah Winfrey's show the other day, where they highlighted this book. It looked interesting and I decided to buy it. I am very glad I did. Anne Geddes has some of her trademark whimsical babies in it, babies looking up from flowers, etc., but she's added a much deeper element with this book; there are many touching photos, of premature babies being held by male hands, of angelic babies in heavenly places, plus there are wonderful poems and quotes with each photo. I weeped the first time I looked through it. This is a great book for mother's day, or for anyone who's recently given birth. I HIGLY recommend it.

Summary: Been There, Done That
Review: More of the same from Anne Geddes. Yes this imagery is cute, but if you want to see photography with true soul and beauty, look at "Enchanted Childhood" by Lisa Jane.

Summary: Take photos of your own baby for a treasure.
Review: OK, some of the photos are really good, others are average. We received this as a shower gift. Why do I want a book filled with photos of complete strangers and their babies? I think a photo album and a few rolls of film to create a book of our own expectant baby would have been much better. If you like looking at pictures of babies, this book is good, but diapers, toy or clothes would be better.

Review: This address book is ADORABLE...There are tabs for each letter of the alphabet and each letter has it's own cute and adorable anne geddes' photo plus a very sweet and memorable quote that fits it. This hardcover address book is a great gift to give to those who are going away to college to make sure they keep in touch with close family and friends from home.
