Rating: Summary: Yet another book report Review: Schilb's scholarship appears to be thorough. Upon closer inspection, _Between the Lines_ turns out to be an elaborate literature-review. Not a bad thing, except that the tone of this book is so "ivory tower," anyone teaching composition in the real world will find Schilb's writerly posture irritating at best. One wonders what the purpose of this book really is. To impress a tiny readership of like-minded high-brows?
