Rating: Summary: There's a reason it's been around unedited for 26 years Review: Having closely examined literally dozens of dream books from the name-du-jour to Carl Jung, since I first acquired a dog-eared copy The Dreamer's Dictionary 19 years ago, I must conclude that people dream differently. But for me, whether a symbol is dreamed, or wanders across the floor at some revealing moment, I trust the Dreamer's Dictionary to illuminate the meaning. In my life quest I have established many useful methods -- and one of those is to use my manually scanned & OCR'd copy of T.D.D. to do quick searches. It's very revealing. I can say this, about my supposition on dreamers: even when I examine the dreams of OTHERS I have found this book accurate and helpful about 85% of the time -- and that it is a big improvement over the others I have tried.
Rating: Summary: Your dreams are really telling you something - listen! Review: I presently own the May, 1975 version and I am looking for the newer version. As I normally use this book almostevery day, I have actually worn most of the print off my cover and even had to tape the cover back on several times. I am truly amazed at how I can look up a dream and then, "bingo", the predictions come true! It's utterly amazing! There have even been times that I woke up in the middle of the night and have either written down my dream, or taken out my dream book and analized it right away for fear that by breakfast, I may not be able to recall all the details. Wonderfully entertaining book for all year round and almost any age. Everybody continues to dream which will always leave a use for this book!
Rating: Summary: Crock of sh*t .... ZERO stars!!! Review: This book is such bull. They have taken certain symbols and labeled them as if everyones dreams mean the same thing. My biggest peeve about this book, would be that it labels the appearance of wolves as a bad thing. Excuse me, but not all people fear wolves and see them as signs of 'the devil' or some crap like that. They fail to take into account the fact that different symbols may mean different things for different people. Instead of this book, I recommend "The Complete Dreambook" by Gillian Holloway, Ph.D. Much better quality and diversity.
