Review: This is a great book for anyone who is applying to high school or college and needs some work with vocabulary. In this book you read a short paragraph about how the word is used and then you do excerises at the end to see if you understand the words. I would totally recommend it!

Review: This is a great book of interesting words to boost your vocabulary. It is 10 chapters with 10 words in each chapter. There is a story of the words' origins or its use and then synonyms or similiar words, antonyms, and several exercises to see if you can match the word with its definition or use in a sentence correctly. There is also a long multiple choice test in the end. sample words: cupidity, ephemeral, decimate, indolent, procrustean, prosaic.

Review: This is a great vocab. book! This book is probably meant for high school or college students, but i'm only in 7th grade. (well, i go to a private school, so...) Any-hooo, i totally recomend this book. i love how it gives the whole story about the origin of the word. It'll help you oodlez in the future, trust me! ^_^
