Summary: Excellent Book for People New to Technical Communication
Review: ...This book...made me more aware of what being a technical writer would mean and what skills I would need.
The content is divided up into subjects that are relevant for all writers. Even though it may not capture every new advance in technology (for that it would have to be revised yearly) it still provides content that is useful to writers today.
... I still use this book as a reference while I am work.
I think it would also make an excellent reference for technical people who find themselves writing documents and want a writing reference to turn to that isn't as long or as confusing as a style guide.
