Review: I have two children with FAS. This book has helped in so many ways. When my children first came to my home, I lived in a rural area that did not know anything about FAS, from the pediatricians, the schools, the psychologist, etc. I bought one for all of them. I have recently moved to another state, and just last week I had a psychologist ask if I had a spare copy for her. Excellent for the professionals and for the parents!

Summary: A must read for professionals and parents
Review: This is an excellent book for social workers, rehabilitation counselor's, drug and alcohol counselor's, mental health therapists, teacher's, doctor's, and parent's of FAS/FAE children. The research-based studies showing behavior and life=skills improvement after trying the new strategies of treatment is an eye-opener. Basically, it encourages a new way of thinking in treatment for this population.
