Rating: Summary: Not very good for a developer Review: I found this book to contain a lot of "marketing" as opposed to technical details which i am more interested in. The book is divided into 2 parts: N-ISDN and B-ISDN. I was hoping the book would spend a lot of time laying foundations and giving details about LAPD, Q931 etc... But it covers those fundamental topics very lightly. Yet it spends 3 long chapters on ISDN "marketing" so to speak. For example, it goes into painfull details on different ISDN services and how much they cost etc... etc...I am dissapointed with this book.
Rating: Summary: ISDN:Concepts, Facilities and services Review: Since, this book is new in our labrary, so I think it is good for student references. I have read this book and more to the ISDN technology that good for enhance or compare with new technology in current development of Networking technology.
Rating: Summary: Very pleased user Review: This is an excellent book. It covers much more than I had expected. I use it often in my research for the classes that I teach. It has been an excellent guide.
