Summary: Praxis I: PPST pre-professional skills tests prep guide
Review: I loved this book. I feel like it prepared me very well for the test (although I haven't taken it yet). I especially liked the mathematics review, it was very easy to understand and reviewed many key concepts I had long forgotten. The only part I did not like was that the CBT was excluded and the book didn't give you an idea of how the scores are ranked (compared to peers), meaning what score is excellent, good, average ... etc.

Summary: Great help! Highly recommend!
Review: I used an older version of this study guide to study for the PPST. I thought it was very helpful, especially the practice questions. Truthfully, I doubt that a study guide is even necessary to take this test since it covers the basic reading, writing, math & essay. But being out of college for several years now, I decided it couldn't hurt to do a review. The quick reviews in each area were great - I concentrated on what I missed on the practice tests. And the best part - it's small in size, I could stuff it into my purse & review while at the doctors office, at the bank drive thru, etc. (I also tried the ARCO guide which I felt was inferior to this guide!)

Summary: Half of A Book
Review: I would not have bought this book in a store, and I should have looked at the dimensions of the book more carefully. It is half the size of the larger Praxis books and it is no bargin. ... The review is very short and some of the test information is out of date and it does not have practice CBT tests. This book will not hurt you but I don't think it is worth the money and you should look at the other books
