Summary: Wonderful Quick Explanations
Review: I tutor math. It's hard to remember everything so I have many books to which I may refer. My favorite for a quick review, wherein I can get an excellent explanation that cuts to the chase, is "Harcourt Brace Jovanovich College Outline Series Calculus" by Farrand and Poxon. It is often the first reference I think of when I want to review limits(including indeterminate forms), conic sections, volumes of revolution, or series. It has a nice section on related rates, and sections on other areas of calculus. I often advise my students to avail themselves of this inexpensive softcover. I have two copies, one at work, and one at home.

Summary: Good Review of Calc. but set aside some time!
Review: This book is very well done. The authors break up the material nicely (23 chapters with short exams scattered in between)and by offering practical application problems to compliment the purely mathematical ones. Be aware though that this book is over 400 pages long! It's not cliff notes. You need to spend some time with it to reap its full benefits. Also, it cuts out some of the theoretical explanations of a standard math text, so you need a bit of experience beforehand. Otherwise, the book is a really good find. I used this book to review math concepts before I began grad school.
