Summary: A great foreign language book!
Review: After studying three other foreign languages, I am now a French major at a large university. I have used many language textbooks in the past, and found Allons-y to be the best of any I have seen. This book gives clear explanations and excellent examples. The dictionary and verb tables in the back are very useful. The artwork could be improved, but at least it doesn't distract from the material being taught. I especially liked the vocabulary lists for each chapter and excerpts from French magazines and literature. All in all, this is an excellent foreign language textbook, and I highly recommend it!
