Review: The Newcomer Program K-2 is without a doubt the most useful book of its kind. It contains nearly 200 pages of blackline masters that your newly arrived ESL students can do on their own or with a buddy. A wonderful resource for both ESL and classroom teachers. There are no extra textbooks, worksheets, etc. to buy. The first 40 pages of the book are comprised of tips for teaching newcomers. Anyone who buys this book should also invest in "Newcomer Program 3-6."
