Understanding Police Culture

Summary: Not very insightful
Review: The author, Crank, isn't a cop! It's obvious from his writing that he doesn't understand police culture at all. While there are some interesting observations made in this book, they are the observations of an academic who has studied cops---and who doesn't understand what we go through on a daily basis. I wouldn't waste my money on this one. Just my honest opinion.
