Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Strategies for teachers Review: For teachers who have a hard time getting their students to write, this book is just for them. It is a compliation of strategies that teachers may use in trying to teach writing to their students. What I liked about this book is that the authors are teachers and the strategies that they list in their book have actually been implemented in their classrooms. The ideas in this book will be of great use to novice teachers as well as seasoned teachers who have run out of ideas. I highly recommend this book to everyone, it is easy to read and understand.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: This book is an artesian well for creative writing juices Review: This book is for any teacher looking to spark student interest in creative writing. With sample writing ideas in categories like introspection, narration, point of view, etc., you're sure to find an idea to replace the old tiresome routine writing ideas in the back of most textbooks. Inside Out is a virtual artesian well of creative writing juices, and the short chapters are quick reads during the limited time teachers have to plan for next week's lessons. I read this book during my methods courses in college, and now, eight years later as I change jobs to finally become a writing teacher, I've come to Amazon.com to specifically find this exact book. It's all I'll need!
