Rating: 5 stars
Summary: An excellent book for intermediate readers of Spanish.
Review: Ladron de la mente is a novel written with a limited vocabulary for intermediate readers of Spanish. It contains a glossary at the end, and has many illustrations of the neighborhoods in Madrid where the story takes place. It has an exciting plot about a young woman and her mysterious boyfriend which contains elements of the supernatural and time travel, giving the author the opportunity to describe and illustrate elements of Spanish history. It's a great way for students of Spanish to make the transition from text book excercises to the reading of sustained literature without getting frustrated.
