Summary: Excellent workhorse
Review: Although this book was printed for the first time 20 years ago, it is an excellent workhorse for everyday use. It is also an excellent complement to my extensive library of technical dictionaries.

Summary: Obsolete now!
Review: We, technical translators, urgently need a renewed, updated and upgraded version of this dictionary. One upon a time it was the "bible" for the tech-translator, today it is obsolete.

Summary: Not that good for today's needs.
Review: When it was published in 1980 the Collazo was an excellent dictionary and it remained so throughout the 80s. Twenty years after its publication it is not that helpful to the technical translator. When I was majoring in translation studies in the early 80s we were told that dictionaries have to be replaced every ten years. Aften ten years, a dictionary is considered "obsolete." Just think how much has happened in the technical field in the past two decades!
