Summary: Packing and Moving Tips That Could Save You A Fortune
Review: There is very valuable advice on how to pack all kinds of objects from the usual dishes and clothing to chandeliers and fountains. There are also charts to help you to load trucks and charts to help you determine how large a truck to order. The author also tells you what to pack first, what to pack last, and what to not pack at all. I'm finding it extremely helpful.

Summary: Waste of Paper
Review: Wow! With the one review on this book I thought it would be the only book I needed to get to make the move, and not waste money. Man, was I wrong! It is written by a professional mover. He does know what he's talking about, but well, he has no idea how to write a book. First of all, the book is almost all blank pages. The average "chapter" is about 2/3 of a page long, with some just one and two sentences! Then, of course you need two pages blank before the next chapter can begin... Half of the actual information in the book is large, hand-drawn diagrams of furniture in a truck, or outlines of what someone elses furniture looks like packed into a truck. It does have some good tips on how to move a grand-piano yourself. If I owned a grand piano I'd pay someone else to move it.
His tips are not on how to move frugally, but on how to spend lots of money on moving supplies to save your "fortune" in precious furniture. If you somehow have aquired lots of precious furniture, need to move, and don't have the money for professional movers, and, of course, do have the money for lots of moving supplies, then this may be the book for you. Maybe. I wouldn't know. I'm not that person, and chances are, neither are you.
