Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Not really satisfactory.
Review: First published in '96 but I'd have thought earlier, perhaps in the 70's. Some useful information regarding evasion but really very little else of interest, just rehashed stuff from another era. In fact some erroneous information regarding insects. This book is better than most of it's type, however, in my opinion, not worth the investment.

Summary: Not for children
Review: Many years ago, my father had a soft cover book called "Escape, Evasion and Survival." I think he got it from the U.S. Army. The title seemed interesting, but the book was boring: mostly about hiding, first aid, finding and eating plants and animals. Maybe something about Morse Code or nuclear attacks. Few illustrations. I lost the book in the woods. Dad said it wasn't worth going back to get it. But I never forgot the title. Is this the same book? I'd like to buy one if anyone has one to spare.

Summary: The SAS Escape, evasion and survivial manual
Review: This book will be with me forever. Its one of the best books I have read on the subject of survival and escape techniques.
