Summary: A comprehensive and clearly written introductory text.
Review: I bought this book to better understand and maintain my home heating system, and it has been excellant for that purpose. It is a mix of theoretical and practical text, and seems to be written for persons entering the trade of oil burner maintenance and repair. By all means choose this book over Mr. Ritchie's book "Burners", the title of which is most suitable as a one-word review of his collected works.
