Review: I had the great pleasure of actually working with BC Downey for a number of years on a many different projects. He was a wealth of knowledge the likes the fire service never knew. "The Rescue Company" is a wonderful legacy by a great man. I would HIGHLY recommend it to any firefighter who wants to learn more than putting "the wet stuff on the red stuff". If you are serious about a career in the fire service, this book needs to be not only be sitting on your shelf, but it better be well read. We will miss you Chief, you were the best.
