Summary: The best French textbook I have seen.
Review: A couple months ago I was searching for a French language textbook to use for self study. I came across this one in college bookstore, and I decided to purchase it; and it was just what I was lookng for in a text. This book doesn't mess around, it simply gives you what you need to effectively learn the French language. I purchased the CD-Rom, workbook and audio tapes that accompany the book. They are very well done ! The thing that I really like about the text is the grammar prsentations. Some people get scared when they see the word grammar, but to build a competent knowledge of a foreign language you simply need to learn grammar.I highly recommend this book.

Review: This book was my text in university and it aided me in my studies of french tremendously. It is concise and very student-friendly. All aspects of french culture are thorougly encompassed. The authors were my professors and their teaching styles are highly reflected in this book. Amuse-toi bien!
