Summary: An essential book for interpreters.
Review: The Interpreter's Companion is an excellent resource for court interpreters, and for interpreters working in other settings. In no other book have I found such a variety of necessary information. The illustrated sections help immensely in the understanding of unfamiliar subjects. (i.e., Firearms, Traffic terms, Medical terms, etc.) I highly recommend this book to all working and aspiring Spanish/English interpreters.
