Review: When my company laid me off, they included this book (it's about the size of a magazine) in the HR folder. I was still a bit shocked about what had occurred, however, I'm glad that they gave it to me. It was very helpful in the formal process of dealing with what is a stressful situation.

I found that the worksheet format, allowed me to quickly get a grasp of my budget, and it was nice to get the reinforcement of basic job search principles.

This is not a book that I would ever buy, but it's one that I'm so glad that someone bought it for me. I was glad my former employer gave this to me, but I would have been happy to receive this (with a hug) from a good friend or relative as well.
