Summary: It works.
Review: I used this book for a Physics course last semester. I found the book to be somewhat ambigous when explaining things such as significant digits. A few more examples could have been used. However, the book fulfills it's purpose. When used in conjunction with labs, the excercises in the book give a student the experience he/she needs to understand the way a scientist must go about collecting data.
