Summary: Eliminates confusion
Review: It is great to come home and have the naps, foods taken, diaper highlights, etc., in one place. Before this I might forget to ask the Nanny important questions and was left wondering for the evening. We also use it to record medications given, etc. It's helpful on weekends when my husband and I are both managing care to avoid duplications, so it's a useful book if you work or if you stay home. It's a nice momento of their early years to save, too. The main limitation is space--but we keep a separate journal to record the funny things the kids say and do throughout the day that all family members/caregivers contribute to.

Summary: Nothing Takes the Place of Mom!
Review: This book is a wonderful tool for whoever watches your baby. It keeps you informed on the essentials of a baby's day or night. It's not only nice for babysitters but for new parents also, to keep track of bottles, diapers and sleeping patterns. But instead of buying this book for working moms, stay at home and raise your kids yourself. The benifits far out way what any paycheck can give you!

Summary: Practical & Sentimental - A Must Have for the Working Mom
Review: When I had to return to work, I didn't want to miss a moment of my child's day. This book let me get a snapshot of his day and supplied useful information that at a rushed pick-up time often was forgotten. My caregiver loved it because it was the most effective method of communication for her. Often, I didn't get to read it until the end of the day once my son was fast asleep but it helped me prepare for the next day. My son is now 4 years old and I came across his book. As I read it, I laughed (at the things he did) and cried (at how quickly the time goes). I am constantly saying, "Oh, that's so cute, I need to write it down." So I've pulled the book out again to keep track of the funny things that he's done and said. I just had my second child and am ordering another book for her. I'm sure that they will enjoy reading the commentary of their toddler years once they are grown!!!
