Summary: The best curriculum we have used!
Review: I cannot find the words to explain my happiness with this curriculum, this is the best we have come across! For starters, the lesson plans are completely laid out for each week in easy to read grid format. It tells you what to do on Mon-Fri in each of the subjects (Math,Reading,Grammer & Writing, Spelling, Social Studies,Science,as well as Supplemental activities in it's own column!) Art,as well as other activities are woven into various subjects under the supplemental area.

It also has background information and supporting activities to go along with the lessons,to help the teacher ( mom :)

Worksheets are included,as well as graphs, maps, ect. Don't make the same mistake I did in ordering a seperate workbook thinking that this will not be enough. I bought this sight unseen, and was mistaken in thinking that we would need extra worksheets. Also included is an answer key for each worksheet at the back of the book.

If you are looking for a VERY user friendly curriculum, look no further...you need to purchase this NOW :) Everything is planned out for you, what a time saver! The best money I have spent as a homeschooling mom!

Summary: A Very Good Curriculum!
Review: I have used this curriculum for Grades 1, 2 and 3 and couldn't be more satisfied with it! It is extremely user-friendly and organized well. There are suggested books to go with the lessons. The first year I ordered all the books (I live overseas and do not have access to a library.) The next year I only used some of the books. The books are wonderful, however I do not think they are absolutely necessary. You can use this curriculum successfully without them. The best thing I have found about this curriculum is that it really gives you a very solid foundation for teaching all the subjects and can stand on its own - or it can be tailored to each child's needs. If you are new to homeschooling, you will not be disappointed with this curriculum.
