Rating: Summary: Psychobabble reinvented Review: This book is full of hermeneutics, psychobabble taken to a new height, misunderstanding of science, and the author's arcane (nonsensical) ideologies concerning research settings where the researcher is part of the research. The author recommends co-operative inquiry and goes to extreme measures (debasing science, logic, systems theory) in favor of ambiguity. Okay, then why is this book written by a single author? According to your own Weltanshauung, you must involve co-inquirers. You did not. Hence the book is prima facie evidence that you are presenting us your personal idiosyncratic ideology and not the shared product of a community of inquirers. So much for opinion and propaganda masking as knowledge.also according to the author practicla knowledge transcends all other forms of knowledge which he identifies as experiential, presentational, and propositional. He claims if you can't apoply knowledg it is like getting the program without the music. First of all not all composers are players. The guy who designed baseball did not have to play it. Someone else could. Secondly superiority of knowledge depends on the inquirer's purpose. My opinion: Save your money and time. Do not buy the book unless you have the inane habit of colecting the world's worst pseudo-intellectual books.
