Review: I came across SPEECH COMMUNICATION MADE SIMPLE by accident. A friend is using this book as a text in a college speech class. I glanced through it and realized that is would be perfect for me. In my new position, I have to make lots of presentations. I have very little public speaking experience and really needed a guide.This is a wonderful book to help guide anyone through the process of writing, organizing, and rehearsing a speech. I highly recommend it to anyone, not just ELS speakers or college students. The chapter on Speaking to Inform was particularly helpful and extremely well written. This book is so user friendly and practical. I refer to it often. I like it even more than Public Speaking for Dummies, which I did find to be helpful, too.
