Review: As someone that has received a BA in Spanish and Linguistics and soon to be PhD student in Linguistics, I really must say that this textbook is absolutely awful. I started tutoring lower level Spanish courses this year and the intermediate level students were using this book. This book is extremely confusing and its setup is absolutely horrendous. Trying to re-teach students the subjunctive after they have used this text is quite a challenge. Look elsewhere if you need a textbook. If this book is required for your course, buy it used-you'll be extremely upset if you purchase this text at full price.
