Summary: Excellent Preparation for ESL College Students
Review: I am an experineced university instructor of English as a Second Language. I just began using this text and the accompanying cassette tapes in my classes. This is an excellent series that helps ESL students to prepare to be on a par with native speakers in terms of note taking in their college courses. The series also improves all aspects of listening comprehension step by step. All of my students this trimester have really enjoyed the series and it has been an excellent spring board for fascinating in class discussions about everything from anthropology, mythology, the supernatural and bigfoot to the changing world economy and the environment. I have had only very positive feed back from the students who are using this series. I highly recommend it. This is the best resource of its kind that I have ever encountered.
