Rating: Summary: Finally, a SOLID resource! Review: As a current strength and conditioning professional, I am delighted to see a book that provides credible knowledge to health and fitness consumers. With the plethora of information out on "how to shed pounds in day" it is relieving to know that I can refer my clients to this book without worrying about directing them to the latest fad in weight loss. This book is MUST HAVE for those who need sound, professional advice on strength training, or body sculpting.
Rating: Summary: Best exercise book I've ever read!!! Review: I've read a lot of exercise books, and this is by far the most comprehensive. It tells you about how and why your body works the way it does, what exercises work what muscles, and how to design your own exercise program. These guys really did a great job of presenting the exercise photos and descriptions so they are easy to follow. Excellent book for the beginning or advanced exercise enthusiast.
Rating: Summary: Excellence Review: Of the availible health and fitness books, the Guide to Body Sculpting sets a new standard for what health conscious people are looking for in an exercise book. It is informative and easy to follow. The information presented is great for beginners or experienced. The numerous illustrations make the instructions even easier to follow and enhance the book over all. This is a great book for anybody looking to start or continue a healthy lifestyle.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Book! Review: The Complete Idiot's Guide to Body Sculpting is written by Patrick Hagerman, who was the personal trainer of the year several years ago. Without a doubt, he has only improved since then. This book addresses the total body, and provides enough exercises to keep the reader busy for a lifetime. This is perfect for both the beginner or advanced exerciser. The author really shares his knowledge, giving unique movements to target muscles in ways the average person won't think about. If you're just starting a workout program or have been working out for years but are ready for some improvement, this is the book for you!
