Review: Those who like to look for typological meaning in the text may find themselves wanting to know the meaning of specific names, which may have deeper significance. For example-- Jesus, which means "My Salvation" No wonder there is "something about that name" Jesus. This book, gives authoritative answers to each of the names in the Old Testament. The author clearly had the deeper meanings in mind, so you will be helped looking up the names of Job's three comforters for example. It has Hebrew in line for those who can make use of it, and it also has the scriptures where the individual is referred in line. I know of no other book that tackles this same task, and does so as well. This definitely belongs on the shelf of any serious Bible student.
