Summary: A Must Read for Global Leaders
Review: The author gives excellent guidelines for living in the new global society. He shares his firsthand experience of and respect and appreciation for different cultures in a way that can be easily accessed. He prepares us for the shift from national to global citizenship that seems to have happened both subtly and suddenly. With this book, both executives and employees of multi-national corporations as well as ordinary folks can help dispel the myth of the "Ugly American".

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Very good overview
Review: Thomas Zweifel takes us in the depths of management in regard to diverse cultural environments and multicultural interaction. It is a very pleasant book to read with a lot of practical and first-hand examples (with working assignments in Europe, India and Japan which gives a broad sprectrum of differences in culture). Beeing aware of cultural differences, having a good background knowledge of the culture you embrace and invest into, are critical factors in order to succeed. "Culture Clash" is a great base for any manager involved in projects with multi-cultural workforce or expatriates with senior management role where culture dimensions cannot be ignored.

Summary: Culture Clash - Thomas Zweifel
Review: Zweifel has distilled a wealth of intercultural theory, real-life case studies, and personal experience drawn from academia, the military, not-for-profits and the corporate world to produce a unique and fascinating read and an invaluable primer for both the neophyte and experienced international managers alike. As a cross-cultural practitioner, I can highly recommend this refreshing approach to understanding and managing the complexities of doing business across cultures.
