Rating: Summary: Worst book about business plans. Prentice Hall can do better Review: It is hard to imagine that Prentice Hall allowed this book to be published in its current form. It is close to useless in helping a reader prepare a business plan. The examples are only the introduction to plans with a gratuitous copy of SBA work sheets. These can be obtained for free from the SBA and are more useful. Many plans are only partially written, as if they were introductory thoughts to the chapter. Some plans are only a few paragraphs. The internet references are a direct download of amazon.com. I hope permission was granted to use them.
Rating: Summary: Impressive array of model business plans to adapt Review: With more than 60 model business plans to choose from, the reader can readily draw up their own, made easier by the accompanying CD-ROM. The sample plans include retailers, small service firms, small manufacturers,home-based enterprises, research organizations, educational institutions, franchises, nonprofits, importers/exporters, and others. The book also contains an extensive collection of small business resources such as SBDC lists and Internet search results.
