Rating: Summary: Very comprehensive and easy to read Review: As a nail technician, I want to know all about the chemicals I work with everyday. Mr. Schoon's book was simple to read, but even better, easy to understand. The book is non-product specific so it doesn't matter what product line a tech is suing now, or might use in the future.Understanding the chemicals I use gives me a one-up advantage over others in my field.

Rating: Summary: Excellent Book About Nails and Nail Products Review: Written for nail technician students, this is an easy to read and knowlegeable book. It describes how nails are formed and discusses types of products for natural and artificial nails. This is a must read for anyone who wants to understand his/her nails and be knowledgeable about selecting a nail technician and/or purchasing products. Most of the book is about nail enhancement products and application techniques. I would have liked more information about natural nail products with brand names mentioned and hope the author will be inclined to write another book devoted to this topic.
