Review: I was disappointed to find that after the first four chapters or so, the few unoriginal thoughts Culbert has on human nature are repeated over, and over and over for the duration of the text. Culbert's central theme is that people are self-interested and usually act in self-interested ways. What a revelation! I felt ripped off by Culbert's own self-interest to sell books.

Review: Sam offers a very comprehensive approach to good communication. His approach is explained with excellent cases that make the reading a very enjoyable experience. Although most of the applications are in the business setting, the approach is very applicable to all aspects of life. This book is definately a must for those managing people and a key to success.
