Review: besides the content.. just the layout of this book is terrible

there are no colours (only blue, black, white) and the font is so light....

the book jumps around a lot and the diagrams are not well drawn..

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Very good devices text
Review: This is an excellent introductory electronics text. It would be considered in the same class as the Bogart, Paynter and Floyd device texts used for the two year program, or at an introductory University level. It covers all the major topics.Transistor configurations, amplifier classes, and a good section on Linear IC's(Timers, Modulators, components of the PLL,DAC/ADC) towards the end. The addition of the practical applications of these IC's I do not believe is found in any other device texts at this level. I found it well organized, topics explained very well, and the graphics pleasing to the eye. PSpice simulations are also very helpful. This text has to be one of the best in its class on the market today. Again, very good devices text.
