Review: This book is an excellent guide to technical writing. It provides clear, organized recommendations that are supported by research. It provides practical advice for writers in situations ranging from writing reports to reviewing colleagues work to creating web pages and writing email. Although there are 20 chapters, because it's so useful and well-written, it's a pretty quick read. A colleague let me borrow it and I think it's the best book I've found yet on the subject.
