Rating: Summary: Great resource for any science classroom. Review: I bought this book to help adjust to curriculum changes in the classroom. What I found was a great resource of mini-experiments and demonstrations that spark students curiosity and get them asking questions. Some of these experiments are not easy and can really challenge a teacher to set up and use. Others are pretty sensitive and take time and trial-and-error before you get it right. But in the long run the concepts taught and the discussions that can be developed are well worth the effort. A great book for any science teacher looking to bring some inquiry and thought to their teaching!

Rating: Summary: Invitations to Science Inquiry Review: Simply the best source of science demonstrations I've seen!
Rating: Summary: A great resource for middle and high school teachers. Review: This Book contains over 350 science demonstrations that challenge students to think. Each activity is one page and has a section covering materials, procedure, questions and explanation. The index is useful in finding that demonstration you need for a certain topic. Liem covers such topics as Air, Weather, Matter, Chemistry, Energy, Heat, Magnetism, Electricity, Light, Sound, Force and Motion, Space Science, Plants, and the Human Body. This is a must for all Middle and High School Science Teachers.
