Summary: Nomah???
Review: I haven't seen this calendar, and I was one click away from buying it, when I noticed....Nomah on the cover???!!! Will it take them until 2006 to remove him from team photos???

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Nomah is Mr. January
Review: My son has this calendar. And I thought it was odd that there is Nomar as Mr. January and no Pedro...

Anyway, Nomar is indeed on this one, as January.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: No More Nomar!
Review: The players pictured on the front of the 2005 Red Sox calendar are Curt Schilling, Manny Ramirez, Jason Varitek and David Ortiz. The calendar pictured at Amazon, with Nomar on the cover, must be from an earlier prototype that was never printed up. The following is a month-by-month list of the players pictured in the 2005 calendar.

January - MARK BELLHORN
February - KEITH FOULKE
March - TIM WAKEFIELD
April - BILL MUELLER
May - JASON VARITEK
June - DEREK LOWE
July - TROT NIXON
August - JOHNNY DAMON
September - CURT SCHILLING
October - MANNY RAMIREZ
November - DAVID ORTIZ
December - GABE KAPLER

It's interesting to note that Derek Lowe probably won't be with the Red Sox next season, while Gabe Kapler has already signed to play in Japan. Noticeable by his absence is Pedro Martinez, arguably the greatest pitcher to ever play for the Boston Red Sox. Maybe his exclusion from the 2005 calendar was what Pedro meant when he said that the Red Sox organization didn't respect him, and could have been the decisive factor in his signing with the New York Mets!
