Review: This book presents a series of modern Japense works from several genres. The original Japanese text is presented along w/the romanization and English translation. A word bank is next to the text to prevent constant and time consuming reference to a dictionary. I'd recommend at least an upper-beginner level of Japanese with good knowledge of basic Japanese grammar before attempting this book. The layout makes normally complex text fairly easy to read. Great book.. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars was.. Well, you don't expect things to be absolutely perfect do you?
