Review: I thought this book was very useful and easy to use! It would be nice if all the entries were written in hiragana as well. After studying japanese on my own for several monthsi"Ɗw‚Å‚·Ij,this book has at least helped me gain a better feel on Japanese verbs. I wish it had a comprehensive list/explanation of compound verbs...just as many books seem to lack those things.

Summary: A very useful book for beginner Japanese students
Review: I'm in my third year of studying Japanese, and I found this book is very helpful for my level. Memorizing the verbs and their forms is second only to memorizing kanji as the most difficult aspects. Here, all the verbs, all their forms, and examples how to use them are listed. I mean, 30 forms for each verb. It doesn't get much better than that. The kanji is given too. I just wish it didn't use romanji, because I'm trying to discipline myself to read kana and kanji as fluent as English characters.

Sometimes I try to conjugate verbs that I've never seen before, and I wonder, "Does this look right?" This book takes a little of the mystery away. The reader of this book can see tables of conjugated Japanese verbs. Below the tables are examples of the verbs used in sentences. This book is excellent for beginning and intermediate students. Even though the examples are given in Roman letters, the verb is written in kanji and kana at the top of the page, which I thought was helpful.
