Summary: Read this book and it's reasonable
Review: A reasonable book covering the basic aspects of applying to dental school. I'm not sure if it helped much as I found this information elsewhere to.

Summary: Great step by step Guide
Review: Having only minimum knowledge of exactly what one needs to do to get into dental school, I found this guide a tremendous help and extremely easy to follow. The info that Dr. Kim has given in this guide can be found elsewhere, but why do time consuming searching when he has included it all here? I highly recommend this book. It won't leave you asking questions later.

Summary: From the author...
Review: I'm not sure who the writer of the review for 3 stars is, but I'm not sure if he actually read my book. Of course the basic information is in there! Did you miss all the other chapters that dealt with the entire application and testing process from start to finish? You'd be surprised at how many applicants are not sure even where to begin. This book was written with the average dental school applicant in mind. Every chapter deals with information and tips that will definitely help the dental school applicant in their journey.

There are no tricks or sales gimicks (such as the e-book that has been promoted below) used to entice applicants to purchase this book. Keep in mind, that NONE OF THIS INFORMATION IS SECRET. You are paying for an expert opinion, and for the convenience of having a large amount of information condensed into a book.

In response to the anonymous reviewer below, I'm not sure what real life tips you are referring to, but I've tried my best to cover the areas that will be important to the average dental school applicant. Having gone through the entire process, and having seen what works and doesn't work (both as a predental and dental student, as well as, one of the few DAT test preparation instructors in Michigan), I feel well-qualified to put my observations in print.

To potential customers, if you want an easy to follow guide to help you prepare for entrance into dental school, then my book is for you. If you want a focused guide that is PRINTED IN A PAPERBACK FORMAT (not an e-book file), that will answer many of your inevitable questions, then my book is for you. If you want to spend a bundle of money and squint at a computer screen for many hours, then follow the advice below.

May God bless your efforts! The dental horizon is only growing brighter!

Dr. Joseph Kim (BA, Religion, Andrews University, Class of 1997, DDS, University of Michigan School of Dentistry, Class of 2001). By the way, predentalinfo.com is no longer my website. Instead, it is now owned by the author referred to below. If you have any questions, please e-mail me at: predental@yorkvilledentist.com.

Summary: A decent read but nothing original
Review: Joseph S. Kim has obviously gone through the steps to get into Dental school. I found that this book was very informative and tells it like it is. The lists of what to studying for the DAT are on the money! I bought several other "help guides" and it was so clear that the Phd's hadn't gone thru the actual process where as Kim either has or he really did his homework. I really recommend this book if you are wanting to get a written guide that will help direct you.
